The Housing Authority of the County of Portage owns and operates federally subsidized housing complexes for elderly and disabled households of Portage County, WI.  Rules and restrictions apply per Rural Development.

The Housing Authority of the County of Portage administers the Housing Choice Voucher Program, which is a federally subsidized housing program.  Rules and restrictions apply per Housing and Urban Development.

Private Landlords are responsible for their own criminal background, credit, personal, and landlord checks and income verification.
